The vehicle has a spacious cabin and a boot of 440 litres. The 60.48 kWh LFP “Blade” battery is a standout. BYD stands for “Build Your Dreams” and specializes in the battery industry. Its Blade battery is said to set new standards for battery safety, space efficiency, and energy density. The ATTO 3 is powered by a 204 PS motor and has front-wheel drive.
Driving Experience The ATTO 3 has three driving modes, Eco, Normal and Sport. There is also a button for snowy weather. Drivers can also choose between the standard brake regeneration or an increased one. The vehicle has a large 12.8″ touchscreen (or 15.6″ touchscreen for the top “Design” specification) that can be rotated between landscape and portrait format. The touchscreen includes controls for heating and ventilation.
- Charging & Range The ATTO 3’s combined electric driving distance is 260 miles. The ATTO 3 supports a maximum charging rate of up to 88 kW. It takes 29 minutes for a fast DC charger to charge the vehicle from 30% to 80%. A 7 kW AC charger at home can charge the vehicle fully in 9 hours, and 42 minutes.
The BYD Seal
BYD’s all-electric Seal was introduced on the European market to compete against the Tesla Model 3 as well as the Hyundai Ioniq 6 The following are the highlights of the review.
- Overview The BYD Seal, is the latest addition to BYD’s European line-up after the Atto 3 SUV as well as the soon-to-be-released Dolphin hatchback. The Seal saloon is designed to compete with the Tesla Model 3 or Hyundai Ioniq 6

It can reach 0-60mph in less than six seconds and has an 82.5kWh battery that offers a 354-mile range. Seal Excellence-AWD adds a powerful front motor with torque vectoring and 523bhp. The 0-62mph speed is reduced to 3.8 seconds. The range is reduced to 323 miles.
